Biography
Sarah was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, but has been an Irish fan since birth. She attended the University of Notre Dame and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Sociology. While at Notre Dame, she was an active member of the Irish Dance team, worked as a tour guide for the Office of Admissions and at the Information Desk at LaFortune Student Center. She was a proud resident of Lyons Hall all four years. After graduation, she taught at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School in Tucson, Arizona, and received her Master of Education through the Alliance for Catholic Education Teaching Fellows. Continuing at Saints Peter and Paul after graduating from ACE, she taught for a total of seven years across multiple grades, but loved her time with middle schoolers the most. At SSPP she coached volleyball and track, served as assistant athletic director, and was a Eucharistic Minister for school masses. As a teacher, she found the advocacy for and support of her students in all aspects of their growth to be the most fulfilling part of her role. This love of walking with young people through a transformational time in their lives led her back to her “home” at Notre Dame. In her free time, Sarah enjoys reading, baking Harry Styles, and supporting all things Fighting Irish.
