Biography
Megan grew up in northeast Iowa, but has called Minnesota, Wisconsin, Kansas, and Illinois home in her post-college years. She received a bachelor of arts degree in Religious Studies and Theology from Loras College in Dubuque, IA (Go Duhawks!) and a master of arts degree in Catholic Studies from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. Before coming to the University of Notre Dame, Megan taught middle school and high school theology, worked as parish youth minister and director of faith formation, worked in college campus ministry, and worked in development for a Catholic non-profit. Serving as the rector of Lewis Hall is the perfect combination of her previous work, particularly helping college students become the best version of their most authentic selves and discerning how they can make a difference in the world with the gifts they have been given. In her free time, Megan enjoys playing with her dog Murphy, exploring national parks, doing crafty things, and spending time with her friends and family.
