Biography

David Diamond is a retired US Army Special Forces Colonel. Originally from Ohio, he graduated from Case Western Reserve University in 1996 and was commissioned into the US Army. After retiring from military service, David’s second career was service-oriented as a high school social studies teacher at George C. Marshall High School in Falls Church, Virginia. While studying theology as a graduate student at the University of Notre Dame, David felt the Lord calling him toward a vocation of pastoral service as a Rector to minister, lead, mentor, and form the faith and virtue of college students. David is passionate about studying theology, sharing the transformative power of faith, and aspiring to uphold Catholic social teaching. He also enjoys sports, exercising, and caring for all animals.David has four adult children, and a rescue tuxedo cat named Powell. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, David is a lifelong sports fan of the Browns, Guardians, Cavs, and, of course, the Fighting Irish.
